As customer demand increased significantly, Punch realized they needed to move to a bespoke solution in order to implement specialized functionality and feature sets required to provide the best guest experience.
Punch has been creating savory, gourmet Neapolitan pizzas since 1996. Guests enjoy the traditional Margherita or a classic pizza like the Toto, made with the freshest ingredients for the highest quality. Punch engaged DineEngine® to build out their website and integrate with Olo to create a direct ordering app with the inclusion of a robust CMS. The goal was to improve the site UX and ordering flow with the addition of custom upsells and cross-sells.

User-friendly and easy to navigate, we integrated Olo for direct ordering, built custom modifiers and a proprietary “Smart Upsells” feature allowing guests to purchase additional relevant products in one click based on cart items or by product.

Order From Any Digital Device

All Punch Pizza menu items are readily available from desktop to smartphone to tablet, allowing quick customization and convenient checkout.

Mobile App With All The Bells & Whistles

We built a custom Punch Pizza mobile app customers can download for iOS or Android that provides all web app ordering functionality plus push notifications that let the user know when their order is ready to be picked up.

Configured For Efficient Order Production
Punch Pizza uses Olo integrated direct ordering, digital payments via DataCap & Heartland, Google data & promotions management, and hardware from Touch Dynamic for customer-facing kiosks.
Sophisticated and Elegant App Features

DineEngine not only met expectations but exceeded Punch Pizza objectives through mobile and web app capabilities, including geolocation to find closest restaurants, location saving, easy pizza customization, and quick-product add to cart for checkout.

Other benefits include the ability to save favorite orders and quickly access via a menu favorite orders button, and quick payment with credit/debit card which can be saved for future use.

Specialized functionality included a custom mobile POS with fire time feature, and custom order throttling and ready times to provide efficient Punch brand-specific order preparation and production.
